GURU - The one who leads us from darkness to light.

A teacher takes responsibility of your growth.
A Guru makes you responsible for your growth.

A teacher gives you things you do not have and require.
A Guru takes away things you have and do not require.

A teacher answers your questions.
A Guru questions your answers.

A teacher helps you get out of the maze.
A Guru destroys the maze.

A teacher requires obedience and discipline from the pupil.
A Guru requires trust and humility from the pupil.

A teacher clothes you and prepares you for the outer journey.
A Guru strips you naked and prepares you for the inner journey.

A teacher is a guide on the path.
A Guru is a pointer to the way.

A teacher sends you on the road to success.
A Guru sends you on the road to freedom.

A teacher explains the world and its nature to you.
A Guru explains yourself and your nature to you.

A teacher makes you understand how to move about in the world.
A Guru shows you where you stand in relation to the world.

A teacher gives you knowledge and boosts your ego.
A Guru takes away your knowledge and punctures your ego.

A teacher instructs you.
A Guru constructs you.

A teacher sharpens your mind.
A Guru opens your mind.

A teacher shows you the way to prosperity.
A Guru shows the way to serenity.

A teacher reaches your mind.
A Guru touches your soul.

A teacher gives you knowledge.
A Guru makes you wise.

A teacher gives you maturity.
A Guru returns you to innocence.

A teacher instructs you on how to solve problems.
A Guru shows you how to resolve issues.

A teacher is a systematic thinker.
A Guru is a lateral thinker.

A teacher will punish you with a stick.
A Guru will punish you with compassion.

A teacher is to pupil what a father is to son.
A Guru is to pupil what mother is to her child.

One can always find a teacher.
But a Guru has to find and accept you.

A teacher leads you by the hand.
A Guru leads you by example.

When a teacher finishes with you, you graduate.
When a Guru finishes with you, you celebrate.

When the course is over you are thankful to the teacher.
When the discourse is over you are grateful to the Guru.

Triple eclipse doesn't bode well for humanity.

Bangalore: If India is racked by tumults from its restful neighbours in the near future, blame it on the universe. This year, starting from July 7, the world will witness a rare celestial drama of a triple eclipse over a period of just one month. If history is any indication, this does not augur well for the world, say the authors of the book Will History Repeat Itself, brought out under the Bharat Gyan series. There could, however, also be positives to emerge like Kurukshetra's great lesson and the divine Gita message, say the authors.
July 7 will witness a lunar eclipse followed by a solar eclipse on July 22 and another lunar eclipse on August 6. Six more triple eclipses will occur over the next decade, point out DK Hari and Hema Hari, the authors. Basing their arguments on arche-historical-astronomical analysis, the authors say the three eclipses that occurred during the first recorded triple eclipse in 3067BC brought the Kuruskshetra war; the second in 3031BC submerged Krishna's Dwaraka and saw the internecine war of the Yadavas.

The Kuruskshetra war killed 47 lakh men and beasts in two weeks. And, it is believed that the war used nuclear-like weapons (even weapons so fearsome that they could kill a baby in the womb, while leaving the mother unharmed). The 20th Century eclipse series saw two world wars and the world's first and only nuclear attack. "It was a war of clans; of brothers -- India and Pakistan are like brothers. Could there be a parallel?" The authors wondered aloud at a media-briefing held in the city on Monday.

Triple eclipses are also linked to Biblical stories of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Pleading not to dismiss the celestial happenings as "exotic tales" Hari said the effect of the realignment of heavenly bodies are based on a scientific fact. "When the Earth is caught between the Sun and the Moon, a huge gravitational pull between the Sun and the planets affects the speed of the Earth's rotation. This, in turn, will affect the motion of tectonic plates that could fall out of sync with the Earth's rotational speed. Tremors are the result."

Commenting on the book, Art of Living founder, Sri Sri Ravishankar said man is powerless in the cosmic scheme of things, but his spirituality could save him from a cataclysmic impact. "The microcosm and macrocosm are interconnected. Nothing exists in isolation," he observed.

Narad Bhakti Sutras - H.H.Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

In 1990 at North America, His Divine Grace Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji gave a series of beautiful talk on eighty-four aphorisms of the Narada -Bhakti - Sutra - The Aphorism of Love. In ancient days there was a sage - A Rishi whose name was Narada - one who connects you with source - who is at the centre as well on the circumference. Guruji very beautifully have explained and expressed the thoughts of Narada that lives revolved around love. The origin of Life is love and the Goal of Life is also Love. Yet, the seeking for Love that bring freedom, comfort and peace, is ongoing.

We will be sharing this knowledge given to us by our dearest Gurudev from tomorrow 23rd July 2009 at the following address : A41 Dwarika, Happy Home Dwarkesh Soc, Behind Bhatia School, Poisar, Saibaba Nagar, Kandivili (W) Mumbai.

Knowledge from the Divine.

The mind can be slippery. Yet, faith should not be slippery. Life is about faith, though sometimes it becomes shaky. Whenever you have been in trouble, haven’t you received help? You will keep receiving it.

You all are like flowers which will never die, never wither. Today there is not a single person who does not have sweetness in his heart. Even if you visit a prison, there are people who have sweetness in their hearts. This joy and happiness that we have received should be reached to others. The aim of mankind is to reach towards happiness and joy. From joy, two things are born in you: a smile and a desire to serve.

There are two kinds of devotees. Have you observed a cat and a monkey? When a monkey walks, its child will cling to it. The monkey is not bothered about its child because the child follows the mother. Whereas a kitten does not follow its mother. The mother has to keep an eye on the child, and takes it in its mouth wherever she goes. Are you a cat or a monkey? Do you cling to the Divine or let the Divine carry you?

Also, for those who are on the path, remember to relax.

Again, there are two types of devotees.
Those who are just starting on the path are like those who are running to catch the train and those who have already begun are those who are already sitting inside the train. People who are just starting are worried about their ability to catch the train; they have to catch a taxi from home, rush to the platform on time, find the right platform, and then find the correct coach, and then get on the train. Until they get on the train, they cannot rest.

If those who are on the train already run from one compartment to the other, will they reach their destination sooner? What is the use of running inside the compartment?
After getting into the compartment put your luggage down and relaxes. And then you will get to your destination.

Eternity Process

Eternity Process Course. ( Past life Regression)

Lot of us have heard about it and want to do it but don't know much. This is a good eye opener.
The soul is eternal. Our existence has been timeless; we have beenhere before in the past and will come in the future too.

The eternity process is a past life regression technique thatprovides a tool to relive events that lie the at the root of apattern, whether mental or physical. The pattern can be something thatneeds to be changed or merely understood. A past life regression alsoprovides a gateway to a vast, invaluable resource of information onprevious times, places, and cultures. It helps the individual clearmental impressions that may block one's progress.

The actions of body, our words and thoughts all leave imprints on ourconsciousness. The mind stores these imprints as Samskaras or impressions. These impressions remain latent in the consciousness fora while before they emerge as mental waves, which produce desires, fears and other emotions. Our past impressions carry weight anddetermine how well we face the present moment and how well we can livelife to its full capacity, free from fears and negative emotions.

To help us to overcome past impressions, our beloved Guruji - Pujya Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji has designed the ETERNITY PROCESS, a process that enables us to view past experiences in this and past lives to erase karmas in a space surrounded by his love and grace. We emerge having lived through our past impressions, more alive to the present moment and open to celebrating life. The process has given deep healing experiences to many people.

Sessions are conducted one to one and last two to three hours.

To do this process you should have done the Part one Art of Living course and should have been regular with your Sudarshan Kriya practice
