A DSN Experience

A beautiful DSN experience shared by a participant who experienced it with Vishwas Bhaiyya

MY DSN EXPERIENCE

DSN-Do Surya Namaskar

DSN-Do Seva Now

DSN-Do Seventy five Nadishodhan

DSN-Don’t Say No

DSN-Damn it Salt Nahi

DSN-Daily Sleepless Nights

DSN-Dull Sombayrees Not-allowed

Also DSN-Divya Samaaj ka Nirmaan

These are the underlying Abbreviations of DSN.

WHAT I LEARNT: When your mind says NO it’s kidding with you. So smile at it and say YES.

DSN for me has been 3 days of non-stop unleashing of the beastly courage in me; I have realized that there are no boundaries in life if one consciously decides to break all the physical and mental barriers. Now I feel that real freedom is when we step out of the comfort zone to the courage zone. An indescribable joy which swells with every brave step we take with a pure intention and commitment, this is what DSN is all about. It is as simple as this, it’s always easy to let go than to hold on.

I feel so lucky to have done this DSN under Vishwas Bhaiya; it’s like learning the law of gravity from Newton himself. I have never in my life seen a person who is so much from the heart. He has such a unique presence which made me feel so connected throughout. His rawness and the intensity in his words just surpasses the head and directly reaches the heart. A sweet is called sweet because it is Sweet. So is Vishwas Bhaiya he is called Vishwas because he is the personification of faith.

"Ayurveda can effectively counter Swine Flu": Sri Sri

"Ayurveda can effectively counter Swine Flu": Sri Sri
Urging people not to panic, His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder
of the Art of Living said in a press release, “India has a wealth of
knowledge from Ayurveda to counter swine flu”.
Elaborating on this, Dr. Manikantan and Dr. Nisha Manikantan, senior
ayurvedic doctors at Sri Sri Ayurveda centre said, “Swine flu invades
the body because of a breakdown in immunity. And Ayurveda offers
simple & effective remedies to boost immunity & build resistance. Tea
made from Laxmi Taru (botanical name: Simarouba)leaves, Tulsi, Amla
and Amrut (Giloy) acts as an immunity enhancer. Alternatively &
additionally, Ginger and Turmeric (haldi) powder mixed with either
lime juice or honey can also be taken twice a day.”
“To counter air-borne swine flu viruses, Sambarani dhoop (loban stems)
should be burnt in the house twice a day. Sambarani is a very potent
atmospheric sterilser”, the doctors added.
Sri Sri also said, “In addition, our mind also plays an important role
in our immunity. Whenever we panic and have fear, our immunity level
goes down. Practices like
pranayama and meditation play a vital role in reducing panic / fear
and keeping ourselves calm. Independent studies conducted at the All
India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (AIIMS) and National
Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences, Bengaluru (NIMHANS)
have empirically proved that practices such as pranayama and
meditation boosts immunity at least three-fold. If we can integrate
these practices in our daily lives along with the simple Ayurvedic
remedies, we can effectively counter swine flu”.

Five signs of a Guru.

Five signs of a Guru.

1. Dukha Kshaya

Sorrow Diminishes. Just give all your botherations toGuruji.

2. Sukha Aavirbhaava

Without any apparent reason, joy wells up... happinesssimply wells up in life. If it does, know that either the Guruis in your thoughts or you are in Guruji's thoughts! Wheneverthere is a Satsang or a course, go and help out. Samvridhi and Samvardhan(see below)happen on their own.

3. Gyaan Raksha

Knowledge gets preserved. You know many things but suddenly when you sit in the course,it comes back. Protecting the knowledge that you already have.

4. Sarva Samvridhi

There is no lack or dearth. The feeling of lack diminishes. With a child, if you go and askthem 'what do you want?'. They will say 'nothing'. Abundance starts happening... in mindand heart. This indicates you are getting closer to the Guru.

5. Sarva Guna Samvardhan

Talents start coming out. Peoplewho have never written poemsstart writing... skills whichyou never have had beforestart coming out. If you doTTC, all these skills start comingout. For example, in TTC,you are given half hour to gocook for 100 people. <<>>.This indicates Samvardhan.

These are the five characteristics of the Guru.... five qualities. And coming near the Guru doesn't mean just sitting near the Guru. In the heart you need tofeel close.

When a teacher finishes with you, you graduate.
